Embedded Software Designer

32-40 hours Sittard, Venlo, Eindhoven €3.750 - €5.500

Your role

As an Embedded Software Designer, you will work within complex multidisciplinary development environments, large project teams and with high quality standards and requirements. You will be involved in every step of development. From drafting the requirements to implementing the software. Together with your team members, you are constantly challenged to explore and push the boundaries of your technical capabilities.

Your daily tasks include setting up an architecture and technical design, implementing and testing the software, integrating the various software modules and writing the corresponding documentation.

Your hours are flexible: 32 to 40 hours per week.

Your background

This is nothing new for you:

A completed college and/or university education in the field of Technical Computer Science or equivalent.

Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in (technical) software development.

You are able to take the technical lead in a team the size of 4 - 8 people

Software development in C++ and/or C for Embedded Linux, OS-less and RTOS

Different development methods and techniques (OOAD, Agile, TDD, etc.)

Various communication buses (SPI, UART, I2C, CAN)

You are able to coach juniors.
