Function

Eekels | TBI is looking for a Mechanical Technician for the Emmen and/or Delfzijl location. As a Mechanic Technician you will install new installations or make adjustments to existing installations at our customers. Your tasks also include maintaining and resolving malfunctions in mechanical installations and systems.

What is expected of you?

• Installing new systems or making adjustments to existing systems at our customers' premises;
• Maintaining and troubleshooting mechanical installations or systems of various kinds;
• Prepare your work independently and systematically;
• Ensure adequate communication with customers and colleagues about (the progress of) your work;
• Working in accordance with internal procedures, including the associated registration.

The Mechanical department is part of the Industry & Infrastructure Business Unit and is an important player in the field of mechanical service and maintenance activities, projects and specialized equipment construction. The department takes care of the entire process of new construction, modifications, assembly, revision, repair and service & maintenance. The market areas that the Mechanical department focuses on include the process industry, (petro)chemical industry, as well as the energy sector.

Experience

Do you recognize yourself in this profile?

• Completed vocational training (MBO) in Mechanical Engineering at level 4 or you are willing to achieve this through training;
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position in an industrial environment;
• Working safely and healthily is important to you;
• Proactive approach and customer-oriented attitude;
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others;
• Good command of the Dutch language.
