The above hourly wages are made up of the basic hourly wage and the attendance bonus. You can also earn a performance bonus with us, which is added to your hourly wage. Are you a real tomato toking? Then you deserve this with ease!

Why work at Schenkeveld as a trainee?

During the summer holidays and on Saturday mornings, more than 300 schoolchildren and students work at Schenkeveld's various locations. It is fun because you work in teams with other schoolchildren or students. The work is easy and not heavy.

At Schenkeveld, you will earn well. The amount of your salary is linked to your age. This salary can be supplemented by bonuses. There are bonuses for performance and for attendance.

Through the MyWorq app, you can specify when you come to work. It is also possible to work on weekdays.

Work of schoolchildren

We start at 7 am in summer and 8 am in winter. We work from break to break. Scholars normally work until noon, but if you want to stay longer during the week or only work an afternoon, this is possible. Please discuss this with your team leader.

The work mainly involves cutting leaves and harvesting tomatoes. Both tasks are light and harmless. As you work with us for longer, the work will expand. We expect you to be there regularly on Saturdays and in the holidays four mornings a week.

Tomato Toking

Scholars who work more than 250 hours a year, register on time in the MyWorq app and know the rules at Schenkeveld become Tomato Toking. These are our toppers; they receive a nice gift every year. Schenkeveld has a great team of Tomatokings!
