As Manager Ocean Freight, you will lead and develop an international team responsible for end-to-end ocean freight operations. You'll ensure smooth workflows, drive process improvements, and create a collaborative, high-performing environment focused on customer satisfaction and innovation.

Description

* Lead and support a team of Ocean Freight Specialists and a Supervisor

* Oversee all ocean freight forwarding processes from start to finish

* Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement

* Build a positive and cohesive team culture

* Monitor and improve team P&L performance

* Coach and develop team members to reach their potential

* Deliver exceptional service and exceed customer expectations

* Implement innovative solutions to optimize operations

Profile

* At least 5 years of experience in logistics or freight forwarding

* Proven leadership skills and experience in managing international teams

* Strong communication and problem-solving abilities

* Focused on quality, efficiency and customer satisfaction

* Experienced in P&L management and performance monitoring

* Service-oriented, proactive and decisive

* Fluent in English (Dutch preferred, Chinese is a plus)

* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
