Polteq is growing and we need you to be part of that! For all regions, we are looking for Test Engineers with about 1 year of experience to join our team.

A test engineer is a specialist in designing and executing tests within a company's software and hardware. These tests are conducted with the goal of improving the performance, quality and reliability of systems and equipment. As a Test Engineer at Polteq, you will help our clients increase the quality of their IT systems at all stages of the software development lifecycle. This allows a faster transition to production resulting in better quality. As a Test Engineer, you will work at the top-200 Dutch companies through Polteq. Software, apps, mobile devices and websites: we test it all. We are the specialist in testing and software quality for a reason.

What will you do?

As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for testing concepts or final products. From the results of the tests you prepare reports and you contribute recommendations for improvement of the products. In addition to performing tests independently, you will also develop tests so that products can be (re)developed appropriately. In doing so, you take into account the wishes, requirements, quality, cost price and manufacturability. For new products, you will translate the concept design into a functional model within the established program of requirements. In your position as a Test Engineer, you often work with several other departments. Together with these departments you realize an optimal working product. What do you bring?

HBO/WO working and thinking level, you speak Dutch and have at least 1 year of experience in software testing

Being ISTQB or TMAP® certified is a plus, but you can also get these certifications with us

Experience with Agile software development

Experience with test automation

Social and communication skills and you have strong analytical thinking skills

In addition, you are flexible, creative, accurate and can work well together

In possession of a driver's license B and willing to travel
