For the COC Amsterdam and Surroundings, we are looking for a Communications volunteer who knows how to find a web in the digital world!

COC Amsterdam and Surroundings makes a strong case for LGBTQI+ emancipation in the Amsterdam region: not only for gay men and lesbian women, but also for bisexuals, transgender and intersex persons and queers.

As a digital communications specialist, you will be a member of the communications team responsible for internal and external communications. You will ensure that our volunteers, members and our followers are up to date with the latest news and facts surrounding the association.

Responsibilities

- Together with the coordinator and fellow volunteers, you will ensure that our members, volunteers and supporters (followers) are informed of what is going on within and around the association.

- Together with the rest of the communications team, you will suggest areas of improvement for internal and external communication channels.

What do we expect from you?

- You are familiar with using Facebook, Instagram and/or Linkedin.

- You have some experience or affinity in the field of marketing/communications.

- You write flawless Dutch and can handle translating into English.

- You are available for a minimum of one hour to a few hours per week.

- You have a laptop or computer with a stable Internet connection.

- You preferably live in Amsterdam or the surrounding area.
