As a Electrical & Automation Engineer at DEME, you'll operate both broadly and deeply: involved in multidisciplinary designs while diving into specialized technical topics. You'll work closely with internal teams across the business, ensuring seamless integration of systems and equipment used in our own fleet of vessels. Expect a high-paced, high-pressure environment where your engineering expertise will be crucial during concept & basic design phase of newbuild and conversion projects. This is not a management role - it's a hands-on technical position focused on delivering high-quality, compliant and innovative engineering solutions for complex projects.

Mechanical Technical expert

As a Technical Expert within our Fleet Department, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for the mechanical integrity and optimization of our fleet. You will specialize within one of our expert domains, such as Gearboxes, Propulsion, or another Supporting system, providing in-depth technical knowledge while maintaining a broad engineering perspective. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of technical challenges related to our cutting-edge vessels and machinery.

As Mission Equipment Technician, your main responsibility will be to perform (or supervise) the required preventive maintenance and repair activities of mission equipment (ME) when it is in between projects.

You will report to the ME Engineer.

Due to our sustained investment effort DEME operates one of the largest and most modern, versatile and purpose-built fleets in the world. As a ME technician you will work in a challenging environment in which you are dealing with heavy equipment, complex installations and project deadlines.

Your main location will be at our offices at our DEME Base Vlissingen (DBV), the Netherlands.
