You oversee the daily operation, identify areas for improvement and implement process optimisations that increase efficiency and reduce costs.

You will be responsible for the...

• organising incoming and outgoing deliveries;
• Liaise with suppliers, transporters and internal departments;
• Monitor the quality of goods received and shipped;
• Managing the logistics team, including training and supervision;
• organising warehouse management, internal transports and order handling;
• Loading and maintenance of machinery and rolling stock;
• Optimising logistics processes to maximise efficiency and cost savings;
• inventory management and timely replenishment of goods;
• Data analysis of KPIs to identify and implement improvement opportunities;
• Prepare and manage logistics documentation and reports;
• monitoring safety rules and regulations within the warehouse and transport;
• Managing complaints and returns processes in cooperation with sales and procurement;
• Contribute to the annual logistics plan and safety policy;
• Analyse trends in transport, distribution and packaging, and make recommendations;
• Chairing day-start + monthly team meetings and sharing insights.

Who are you?

You have a keen eye for potential bottlenecks and know how to solve problems quickly and effectively. You maintain an overview, set priorities and keep everything running smoothly.

In addition, you are a true team player with an eye for continuous improvement. You communicate clearly, work with integrity and bear responsibility for colleagues, suppliers and customers. With your approach and drive, you ensure that our logistics processes are efficient, reliable and future-proof.

• At least an MBO+ or Bachelor level of work and thinking, preferably in logistics, supply chain or business administration;
• Experience in a coordinating or managerial role;
• Knowledge of transport legislation, logistics, ADR and relevant customs regulations;
• A proactive and customer-oriented attitude;
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written;
• excellent command of the Dutch and English languages, both verbally and in writing;
• hands-on mentality, analytical ability and attention to detail
• Willingness to develop further through training and coaching?
