For a leading international supply chain solutions provider with its EMEA operations based in Rotterdam, we are currently looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator EMEA.

Description

Our client is a global supply chain partner with over 50 years of experience providing end-to-end logistics and technology solutions to some of the world's biggest brands. With a global team of around 1,000 employees and operations in every major shipping port, they leverage their proprietary supply chain management system to deliver synchronized, data-driven logistics services. The Rotterdam office plays a central role in managing the company's EMEA region operations, and you'll be joining a dynamic and collaborative team.

As a Supply Chain Coordinator, you will be responsible for the coordination and execution of export shipments and the management of supply chain data across various internal systems. You will work closely with vendors, carriers, customers, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate shipment handling, documentation, invoicing, and issue resolution.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the end-to-end supply chain process with all relevant stakeholders

  • Manage and update bookings, shipments, and real-time notifications in the internal system

  • Collect and process required shipping documentation from vendors and carriers

  • Create and issue invoices to both customers and suppliers

  • Oversee execution of export shipments from the EMEA region

  • Provide guidance to vendors and partners on export-related procedures and system use

  • Support implementation of new customer accounts, vendors, and carriers

  • Maintain accurate digital records and shipment files

  • Coordinate tasks related to the NVOCC business: rate quotations, issuing bills of lading (BLs), AMS filing, etc.

  • Handle customer inquiries, resolve claims, and monitor satisfaction

  • Review KPIs with customers and operations team regularly



Ideal candidate:

  • MBO or HBO degree (logistics, business, or related field)

  • 3-5 years of experience in international logistics, freight forwarding, or (retail) supply chain

  • Strong command of English (written and spoken)

  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset

  • Proactive, solution-focused, and highly organized

  • Comfortable managing multiple tasks and working under pressure

  • Skilled in MS Office (Excel, Word, PDF)
