Job description
- Identify, approach and maintain contact with potential donors, sponsors and partners.
- Develop and implement fundraising strategies and campaigns to achieve the financial objectives of the Youth Fund for Sports and Culture Almere.
- Writing compelling funding applications and sponsorship proposals.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential donors and partners.
- Monitor fundraising activities and report on progress and results.
Our organization
Our organization exists thanks to subsidies, funds, and sponsorships. These funds allow us to offer children from Almere a chance to thrive. The board consists of passionate Almere volunteers who enjoy working together as a collegial committee. The board is responsible for the fund's operations. Implementation is the responsibility of the coordinators and back-office staff of the Youth Fund for Sports & Culture Almere.
Desired skills and experience
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Demonstrable experience in fundraising, preferably in the non-profit sector.
- Networking skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Results-oriented and able to achieve objectives within set deadlines.
- Proactive and independent working attitude, but also a team player.
- Affinity with the Youth Fund Sports & Culture Almere.
