Team Lead Supply Chain Planning

Description

As Team Lead Supply Chain Planning, you are responsible for the end-to-end planning process within a complex international supply chain. This is a hands-on leadership position, combining operational responsibility with the direct management and development of a team of three planners.

You will play a critical role in balancing service levels, inventory optimization and cost efficiency, while acting as a key interface between supply chain, production, logistics and commercial stakeholders. You report directly to the Supply Chain Manager.

• Full ownership of the end-to-end planning process, including inbound supply planning and master production scheduling (in-house production and tolling partners)

• Lead, coach and develop the planning team (3 FTE), including setting and monitoring SMART objectives

• Manage your own planning portfolio alongside leadership responsibilities

• Oversee allocation processes and proactively escalate supply and demand constraints

• Drive continuous improvement of planning-related processes, systems and governance

• Act as Business Process Owner for planning

• Ensure planning KPIs are achieved, including inventory targets, OTIF and service levels

• Maintain strong cross-functional alignment with internal stakeholders to improve cooperation and business performance

• Contribute to and operate in line with the Supply Chain Blueprint and governance standards

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations or a related discipline

• Minimum 5 years of experience in planning or supply chain roles, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead position

• Proven hands-on leadership experience within an operational environment

• Fluent in English (mandatory); proficiency in any additional European language is a strong advantage (Dutch is highly preferred)

• Residing in the Netherlands and eligible to work full-time

• Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, including planning, inventory management and logistics

• Experience in international trading, manufacturing and/or industrial environments

• Advanced ERP knowledge (SAP preferred) and experience with advanced planning tools (e.g. Anaplan)

• Demonstrated success in process improvement initiatives within an international setting

• Knowledge of industry-specific contract terms is considered a plus

• Competitive gross annual salary up to €75,000 - €80,000, depending on experience
