    Business Development Lead - AXA HOME Security

    Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for unlocking new markets? We are seeking a seasoned Business Development Lead to drive growth in both new market verticals (e.g., commercial construction in the Dutch building industry) and geographic regions. You will be part of a dynamic Brand & Business Development team, working closely with Sales to identify opportunities, build actionable plans, and execute them with precision.

    With almost 125 years of experience, AXA HOME Security has built up a rocksolid reputation and is the NO. 1 Brand in The Netherlands in the field of various (security) products for opening and closing doors and windows, such as door handles, locks, cylinders, door closers, hinges and window handles.     As AXA HOME Security we have Sales Offices and Manufacturing Facilities in The Netherlands as well as Poland.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Market Expansion

    • Research and analyze new verticals and geographic markets.

    • Identify and evaluate commercial opportunities in the Dutch building industry as well as in other geographic markets.

    • Develop go-to-market strategies for new segments.

    Strategic Planning & Execution

    • Monitor and analyze market and industry trends.

    • Translate market insights into actionable commercial strategies.

    • Build and execute business development plans aligned with company growth objectives.

    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and execution. Customer & Partner Engagement.

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and prospects.

    Cross-functional Collaboration

    • Work closely with Sales to support lead generation and conversion.

    • Coordinate with Marketing to develop targeted campaigns and content.

    • Provide input to Product Management based on market feedback.

    • Track KPIs and ROI of business development initiatives.

    • Prepare regular reports and business reviews.

    Key Qualifications:

    Education:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or related field.

    Experience:

    • Minimum 5 years in business development, preferably in the door & window hardware or building materials industry.

    Languages:

    • Fluent in Dutch and English; German is a strong plus.

    Skills:

    • Strong analytical and strategic thinking.

    • Pragmatic approach in translating strategies into actionable plans, and able to lead and execute these.

    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

    • Proven ability to open new markets and build lasting relationships.
