Amsterdam Fringe Festival is the stage for boundary-breaking artists and untamed stories. For eleven electrifying days, we turn the city upside down with theatre, dance, performance, storytelling, circus, and everything in between-or beyond. Expect the unexpected. We thrive on boldness, experimentation, and radical openness-and our campaigns embody that spirit.
For our 2026 edition, we're not looking for a traditional graphic designer.
We want a Campaign Designer : a creative mind who thinks conceptually and delivers visually. Someone who can translate the festival's energy into a visual language that provokes, excites, and seduces-across both digital and physical platforms.
What you'll do
- Develop the campaign image for the festival in 2026 that captures the essence of Amsterdam Fringe and the theme.
- Take artistic ownership of the entire creative process, from concept to rollout.
- Collaborate closely with the Fringe team on:
- Crafting a concept and visual identity that resonates with artists and audiences;
- Shaping the campaign slogan and tone of voice;
- Casting and producing shoots together with the Fringe marketing team;
- Designing online and offline assets;
- Join approx. 5-6 brainstorming sessions between January and June (some online and some live in Amsterdam)
Who you are
- Experienced in designing campaigns for cultural festivals, theatre companies, or creative projects.
- Conceptually strong, with a distinctive style that can align with Fringe's brand DNA.
- Capable of carrying both artistic vision and practical execution.
- A collaborative spirit who also thrives independently.

A total budget is available for the design process, which we will explain to you in the first meeting.
