What will you do as a Delivery Driver Jumbo?

Your workday starts at the Jumbo hub in Amsterdam. After a short check-in with your colleagues, you head out in your yellow Jumbo van. You deliver groceries to customers homes and businesses across the city. Narrow streets, busy traffic or carrying crates upstairs? No problem for you. You work safely, efficiently and always with friendly service. At the end of your route, you return to the hub, unload the van and wrap up your shift together with the team.

There are two different shifts. Within these times you work on average 6 to 7 hours per shift.

• Morning shift: between 06:00 and 15:00;
• Afternoon/evening shift: between 15:00 and 23:00.
• When will I be scheduled?

• What kind of vehicle will I drive?

  A modern Jumbo delivery van with automatic transmission.

• How physical is the job?

  You are actively moving and lifting crates throughout your shift.

• Category B driving license (manual);
• At least 3 months of independent driving experience;
• Accident-free driving record;
• Good command of English or Dutch;
• Available at least 2 days per week;
• It will be very positive if you can work at saturdays;
• Minimum availability of 6 months;
• Living in or near Amsterdam;
• Physically in good condition.
