Who we are

At Studio Harmeling, we design interiors that work. From office environments to retail concepts and custom furniture. We are a close-knit design team within Harmeling Interieurs, working closely every day with colleagues in the workshop and on site.

Design and execution go hand in hand here. That makes our work concrete, dynamic and visible all the way through to the final detail. Due to the growth of our project portfolio, we're looking for an interior designer who is confident in their craft and ready for the next step.

What will you do?

You'll work on a wide range of assignments. You translate client needs into smart spatial solutions - from the first idea to a fully developed design ready for production.

In practice, this means:

• you develop designs in SketchUp and, when needed, in AutoCAD or Vectorworks

• you present your design convincingly to clients as well as colleagues

• you collaborate effortlessly with fellow designers, planners and project managers

• you safeguard design quality and can clearly explain the reasoning behind your choices

• you switch smoothly between projects without losing sight of the bigger picture

What do you bring?

• a completed bachelor's degree in interior design, spatial design or architecture

• at least 3 years of relevant professional experience in interior design

• extensive experience with SketchUp (must)

• experience with AutoCAD or Vectorworks (strong plus)

• strong spatial insight and a keen eye for form, material and detail

• you prefer office, retail and custom-made interiors over purely residential work

• strong command of Dutch and English

• a proactive attitude, sharp eye and enthusiasm for creating beautiful work
