Collaborating on building materials for a sustainable future.

We are looking for new graduates and interns for our SUNTEX project!

A project to develop a new technical textile that contributes to the mission of a CO2-free built environment in 2050. You will be part of a dynamic team where everyone counts. You can count on our help, knowledge and expertise to get the most out of your (graduation) internship. And who knows, you might even join us directly after graduation.

About the project:

Since 2020, we have been working on the development of SUNTEX: a new technical textile incorporating thin film organic solar cells (OPV).

SUNTEX can be used as a lightweight, energy-harvesting and aesthetic building material for applications such as facade cladding, second skin facade or in membrane structures.

Currently, research focuses on, among other things, being able to weave OPV on an industrial scale, integrating the electrical circuit into the product, joining, installation and maintenance methods, and certifying and testing SUNTEX as a building product.

• HBO/WO education studying Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design and/or Electrical Engineering.

• Curiosity and eagerness to learn.

• Command of the Dutch language.
