    To support ongoing growth, Van Lanschot Kempen Investment Management is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager within the Dutch Institutional Sales & Relationship Management team. The focus of the new hire will be on marketing and sales activities of Alternative Investment Solutions (AIS) to institutional investors in the Netherlands. Experience or affinity with Fiduciary Management (FM) and relationship management is also important. This role requires the candidate to have excellent market knowledge in terms of Dutch relationships and alternative investments, as well as successful experience in business development.

    You also have the following tasks:

    • Taking a proactive and initiating role in generating leads.
    • Leading identified sales processes.
    • Contributing to high-quality sales materials, such as RFPs and presentations.
    • Collaborating with specialists such as portfolio managers, marketing manager, and RFP writers.
    • Managing relationships with existing clients, consultants, and prospects.
    • Providing the organization with market needs, particularly regarding alternative investments.

    Your talents

    We are looking for an excellent communicator who is professional and works effectively. Talents you use to attract new clients and guide existing clients every day in an ever-changing world by thinking outside the box and asking questions. You also have:

    • Completed relevant education.
    • At least 10 years of experience.
    • Thorough knowledge of the industry and institutional investments, particularly alternative investment products.
    • A creative sales attitude.
    • Good command of the English and Dutch languages, both spoken and written.
