Every space has a story. You bring it to life through custom craftsmanship. As a Custom Furniture Maker at Harmeling, you create unique interiors where craftsmanship, precision and collaboration come together.

Who we are

At Harmeling Interieurs in Rijssen, we turn dreams into something you can touch. We design, develop and deliver bespoke interiors for retail, commercial projects and private clients. We do this with a close-knit team of Waarmakers : skilled professionals with passion, expertise and a love for craftsmanship.

Every day, we create interiors that are meant to be seen: from exclusive counters and cabinets to complete store and office fit-outs. And because everything we do is truly custom-made, we are looking for a new colleague who wants to create beautiful work with pride and precision.

At Harmeling, you work in a modern workshop with advanced machinery, skilled colleagues and an informal, down-to-earth atmosphere. You contribute to unique projects, see the result of your work straight away and get the opportunity to grow in your craft.

What will you do?

As a furniture maker, you create high-quality bespoke furniture that perfectly matches the design and our clients' wishes. You turn technical drawings into perfectly finished pieces - from separate components to complete interior elements.

In practice, this means:

• making furniture and interior elements based on working drawings

• working with solid wood, sheet material and various veneer and finishing products

• working accurately and safeguarding the quality of every piece of furniture

• working together with fellow furniture makers, work planners and installers

In short: you create bespoke pieces that are exactly as the client imagined.

What do you bring?

• A completed furniture maker qualification at level 2 or 3

• The ability to read technical drawings well

• Experience in woodworking, hand tools and machine woodworking

• Craftsmanship, precision and an eye for detail

• Pride in your work and a genuine love for the trade

• A positive, practical mindset and enjoyment in working together
