About the role:

As the Head of Engineering, you are the strategic and operational leader of the engineering organization. The biggest challenge is creating structure, implementing clear processes and fostering effective communication across six multidisciplinary development teams.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead, coach and develop the leads of six engineering teams (Frontend, Planning & Actions, Intelligent Sensing, Core Backend, Simulation, UXV).

• Design, implement and optimize software development processes (Agile/Scrum) to increase efficiency, predictability and quality.

• Own the technical vision and ensure a robust architecture and high-quality codebase.

• Act as the bridge between leadership, product and engineering.

Requirements & Tech Stack:

• Strong background in software engineering (experience with Rust is a plus).

• Experience scaling engineering organizations in a startup or scale-up environment.

• Experience with mission-critical or high-performance software (defense, aviation, robotics, etc.).

• Stack includes Rust (85-95%) & Python for backend, Svelte/TypeScript for frontend, and Unreal Engine 5 for simulation.
