Are you ready to make history? In your internship or graduation project, you'll work on the biggest transformation in the energy world. You'll look ahead to the impact of wind energy, batteries, sensors, data, and IT. How will you design an energy future that's as safe and reliable as today? You'll work alongside our professionals and be greatly challenged. This is graduating with impact.

Outside at our high-voltage substations or inside behind your laptop - a challenge is waiting for you either way.

We offer various assignments in areas such as technology, IT, communications, and HR.

• The internship process

• Application

  Would you like to start in February?

  Would you like to start in September?

  You can apply for an internship by responding to the vacancy with your CV and motivation letter. You will always receive a response from us. Please note: we cannot accept open applications.

• Selection & interview

  Did you receive a positive response to your application? Great! Then we'll invite you for an interview. During the interview, we'll see whether there is a good match. If both sides agree, you can start preparing your documents and onboarding.

  Did you not receive a positive response to your application? You are always welcome to apply again for a future internship position.

• Internship agreement & documents

  To ensure a smooth start, we need your internship agreement from your study programme in addition to your CV. This document must include:

  • Start and end date
  • Number of hours per week
  • Three signatures (your academic supervisor, your internship supervisor, and yourself)

  For a February start, this must be completed before December. For a September start, it must be completed before the summer holidays in July. Please coordinate this carefully with your academic and internship supervisors.

• Onboarding

  Great, you're about to start! You'll join TenneT's central onboarding programme together with all other new colleagues. Over the course of two days, you'll get to know TenneT better. After that, you'll continue your onboarding within your own department.
