Gezocht: Hoofdcoach voor U20

Beste Ultimate-community,

In 2026 staat er een internationaal toernooi op de planning: het WFDF 2026 World Junior Ultimate Championships 11th - 18th Juli 2026 in Logroño, Spain. Vanwege de hoeveelheid in aanmerking komende spelers word er gefocust op een u20 team in de open-divisie, waarbij ook vrouwen worden aangemoedigd om zich aan te melden voor dit team.

Bij de u20 word gezocht naar een hoofdcoach die assistent coaches Tom Janssen en Mart van Lingen zullen versterken.

Wij zoeken iemand die:

• • inzicht heeft in frisbee op hoog niveau;
• • sterk is in communicatie en beschikt over goede interpersoonlijke vaardigheden;
• • een rolmodel is voor de "Spirit of the Game";
• • goed om kan gaan met conflicten;
• • zich houdt aan de gedragscodes;
• • tijd kan investeren in het seizoen (trainingen, feedbacksessies, toernooien en kwartaaloverleg met de NT-werkgroep);
• • de Nederlandse taal beheerst (dit is een pré, vooral voor het U20-team)
• • zich voor 1 jaar wil wijden aan de Nationale Teams als coach (dit is een pré en zich tenminste wil committeren voor de periode november 2025 tot en met het toernooi (zomer 2026)).

De coach is verantwoordelijk voor de trainingsopbouw, trainingen en de teambuilding en is onderdeel van het begeleidingsteam. Het begeleidingsteam bestaat uit 1 of 2 coaches, een teammanager, het NFB-bondsbureau (financieel en administratief) en een fysiotherapeut (aanwezig tijdens het toernooi).

In de wintermaanden zullen eerst een reeks popups volgen, waarna vervolgens rond februari de selectie word bepaald. De trainingsdata zullen nader worden bepaalt.

Dear Ultimate community,

An international tournament is planned for 2026: the WFDF 2026 World Junior Ultimate Championships, July 11th - 18th, 2026 in Logroño, Spain. Due to the number of eligible players, the focus will be on a U20 team in the open division, with women also being encouraged to apply for this team.

For the U20 team, we are looking for a head coach who will strengthen assistant coaches Tom Janssen and Mart van Lingen.

We are looking for someone who:

• has insight into frisbee at a high level;
• is strong in communication and possesses good interpersonal skills;
• is a role model for the "Spirit of the Game";
• can handle conflicts well;
• adheres to codes of conduct;
• can invest time in the season (training sessions, feedback sessions, tournaments, and quarterly meetings with the National Team working group);
• masters the Dutch language (this is a plus, especially for the U20 team);
• is willing to dedicate themselves to the National Teams as a coach for 1 year (this is a plus and to commit at least for the period from November 2025 through the tournament (summer 2026)).

The coach is responsible for training structure, training sessions, and team building and is part of the support team. The support team consists of 1 or 2 coaches, a team manager, the NFB office (financial and administrative), and a physiotherapist (present during the tournament).

During the winter months, a series of pop-ups will first take place, after which the selection will be determined around February. Training dates will be determined at a later time.
