Procurement & Contract Specialist

Fundaments is growing. And with growth comes increasing complexity. More suppliers, more contracts, more compliance requirements. That's why we are creating a new role: Procurement & Contract Specialist (buyer).

In this position, you ensure everything is in order. Contracts are well managed. Suppliers deliver on their promises. Costs remain under control. And colleagues can rely on clear processes and up-to-date information.

You bring structure, oversight, and professionalism to procurement and contract management.

What will you do as a

Procurement & Contract Specialist

You are responsible for both operational and tactical procurement, as well as professional contract management. You ensure that resources and services are available on time, under optimal conditions, and within budget.

Operational Procurement

• Placing and following up on purchase orders
• Coordinating with Projects, Sales, and Finance regarding needs and planning
• Monitoring delivery times, SLAs, and invoicing
• Handling deviations in deliveries, invoices, or contractual agreements
• Providing usage and license reports

Tactical Procurement & Supplier Management

• Requesting, comparing, and evaluating quotations
• Negotiating prices, terms and conditions, SLAs, and contract durations
• Selecting and evaluating suppliers
• Maintaining professional relationships with strategic partners

Contract Management

• Recording and managing contracts
• Monitoring contract terms, renewals, indexations, and notice periods
• Ensuring complete and up-to-date contract registration
• Identifying contract risks and deviations

Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensuring compliance with internal policies and external laws and regulations
• Supporting audits (ISO, ISAE, GDPR-related agreements)
• Identifying legal, financial, and operational risks

Reporting & Improvement

• Preparing reports on spending, suppliers, and contracts
• Identifying optimization opportunities
• Contributing to the further professionalization of procurement and contract management

What do you bring?

- Higher professional education level (HBO) or equivalent working and thinking level

- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role

- Experience within IT services

- NEVI 1 or 2 certification (or willingness to obtain it)

- Strong communication skills

- Analytical ability

- Proactive and structured working style

- Creative and problem-solving skills

Competitive salary: As a Procurement & Contract Specialist (Buyer) at Fundaments, you will receive a competitive salary. We also offer an attractive pension scheme and 25 vacation days based on full-time employment (nice extra: you get your birthday off as well). In addition, you'll receive a phone allowance of €25 per month and an internet allowance of €35 per month.
