This hightech marketleader with an office in Barendrecht is currently seeking for a Logistics Assistant or Shipping Agent to join their team.

The main language on the work-floor is English. So you need a good level of English (written and speaking). But Dutch will help as well.

An extra language is always handy, but not necessary for the job.

You need to be self active and wants to get the job done. Hard working and secure.

Some experience in logistics is a must. By working or by education.

The logistics assistant works in the area of shipping and receiving, and supports the Logistics Manager in all aspects of warehouse operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities - include but are not limited to:

• Arrange Outgoing Shipments, from preparing packing lists to physically packaging outgoing material.
• Be involved throughout the shipping process.
• Review and compare transportation costs from different vendors, ensure that the outgoing shipment is accurate and well packaged, track shipments and ensure delivery
• Process Incoming Shipments.
• Receive incoming materials, compare what has been shipped with the shipment order, ensure that the materials are in good condition, stock the materials in the warehouse and file all corresponding documentation.
• Manage Warehouse Inventory. Conduct a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly inventory of supplies and places orders with vendors as needed.
