Job Description

As a Process Operator, you are the central figure in our melting line. You will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining the machines. Additionally, you will monitor the melting process, perform regular inspections, and record key data. Small malfunctions? No problem—you’ve got it covered! You’ll collaborate with operators from other packaging lines and work closely with our QA and Technical Service teams.

Your daily tasks include:

• Supervising production staff.
• Helping new colleagues get up to speed.
• Participating in improvement teams to optimize processes.
• Reporting directly to the Smelting Foreman.

Requirements

You already have experience as a Process Operator, a technical mindset, and take responsibility for your work. Additionally, you:

• Have experience in the food industry..
• Have a good command of the Dutch language.
• Are knowledgeable about quality and safety standards.
• Are willing to work in a two-shift schedule (with the possibility of transitioning to three shifts in the future).

Wat ga je doen als Machine Operator?

Als Proces Operator ben jij de spil van onze smeltlijn. Je stelt de machines correct in, bedient ze en zorgt ervoor dat alles schoon en goed onderhouden blijft. Het smeltproces houd je nauwlettend in de gaten, waarbij je controles uitvoert en gegevens registreert. Komt er een kleine storing voorbij? Dan los jij die snel en efficiënt op.

Naast je werkzaamheden aan de lijn stuur je productiemedewerkers aan en help je nieuwe collega’s met hun inwerkproces. Ook denk je actief mee in verbeterteams om processen verder te optimaliseren. Je werkt nauw samen met collega-operators van andere verpakkingslijnen en schakelt regelmatig met de QA- en Technische Dienst. Daarbij rapporteer je direct aan de Voorman Smelterij.

• Werktijden: 06:00 – 14:30 en 15:00 – 23:00 het rooster is roulerend.

Wij vragen

Je hebt al ervaring als Proces Operator, bent technisch ingesteld en voelt je verantwoordelijk voor je werk. Daarnaast:

• Heb je ervaring in de levensmiddelenindustrie;
• Beheers je de Nederlandse taal goed;
• Heb je kennis van kwaliteits- en veiligheidsnormen;
• Wil je in een tweeploegenrooster werken (en mogelijk later drieploegen).
