Job description

As a Marketplaces Commercial Employee you have a versatile position. In your position you are mainly responsible for the marketplace part of MIKA. A marketplace is an online sales channel through which various suppliers can offer their products. In this position you ensure that these marketplaces are set up and function as optimally as possible. From managing stock to presenting the products correctly online.

• You think about the right pricing strategy for the products and expanding and optimizing the marketplaces;
• You ensure the complete online presentation of products; You do this by writing product texts and requesting and/or formatting images;
• You ensure optimization of the stock of products;
• You keep an eye on the order flow, you are ahead of any hick-ups in the order process or you know how to solve them in the best possible way.

The role of MIKA has changed in recent years from traditional distributor to a complete "brand fulfillment partner". Together with our brands and customers we determine the right strategy to utilize the full potential of the Benelux market.

Positioning a brand correctly in the market is what we do every day. From our head office in Lisse, we can execute the right strategy for both online and offline sales. If desired, we can create a separate brand website for the brand or guide sales via the various marketplaces. Together with the brands and our sales partners, we work on the execution of the strategy that we have drawn up together. At MIKA, we are proud of our pleasant collaborations with customers such as Bol.com, Media Markt, Expert, Electro World & Coolblue.

The team

You will work in a team of young professionals who deal with sales on a daily basis. We embrace the vision; 'If you are doing well, the company is doing well and vice versa.'' We work with a total of 12 FTEs, including two colleagues from Belgium. In your position you work closely with the B2C department of our company, consisting of 4 colleagues. We work with pleasure, humor and drive!

Who are you?

You are someone who likes to collaborate. At MIKA we are convinced that together you can go the furthest. You certainly don't have to be able to do everything, but you are eager to learn and commercially oriented.

• MBO 4 / HBO working and thinking level
• Experience with online product presentation is an advantage
• Experience with marketplaces is an advantage (otherwise we are happy to teach you!))
• Proactive
