To complete our management team, we are looking for a Finance Manager who will monitor our financial course and help build the future of TRIMM.

Your role as Finance Manager at TRIMM

You are a strategic yet hands-on professional who enjoys optimizing processes, translating figures into clear insights, and acting as a sparring partner for the management team and colleagues in project teams. In this role, you lead TRIMM's Finance team (3 colleagues). Together with the team, you ensure reliable financial reporting, invoicing, procurement, payroll administration, and project administration.

In addition, you act as the connecting link between finance and the business:

• You are part of the team and actively contribute to daily operations.

• You ensure that financial information is translated into valuable management insights.

• You support management in making well-founded decisions, analyze trends, and identify risks and improvement opportunities.

• You prepare periodic reports, budgets, and forecasts.

• You safeguard liquidity, cash flow, and financial KPIs.

• You coordinate the annual accounts and liaise with external accountants.

Within the Finance team, you are someone who keeps everyone sharp. You coach team members in their professional development so they can contribute to optimizing administrative processes. With your knowledge and expertise, you also actively contribute to organization-wide improvement projects.

What do we expect from you?

• A completed higher professional (HBO) or university (WO) degree in Finance, Business Economics, or Accountancy.

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role (controller/finance manager), preferably in a digital, technical, or project-driven environment.

• Experience with financial planning & control, reporting, and optimization projects.

• Experience and in-depth knowledge of payroll administration and payroll changes.

• Experience with Power BI is a plus.

• Strong analytical skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.

• The ability to make complex financial information understandable for colleagues.

• Leadership qualities and a focus on team development.

• Excellent command of the Dutch language and good business English.

• You are able to provide constructive counterbalance, are decisive, proactive, and results-driven.
