What will you do?

As a host for Voyage, you will warmly welcome our guests and ensure their experience begins and ends with a smile. We expect a high level of sophistication in this role and a good knowledge of Amsterdam, its history, and its culture. You will guide our guests through the canals for two hours, sharing your knowledge of the city alongside the skipper.

Responsibilities:

• Welcoming guests on board;

• Serving drinks and snacks to guests;

• Engaging with guests by sharing stories about Amsterdam;

• Handling payments at the end of the tour;

• Ensuring, together with the skipper, that the boat is left spotless and fully stocked in the harbor.

Job requirements

Requirements:

• You are available at least 2 days per week, including at least 1 day on the weekend;

• You are willing to work in the evenings and during peak season;

• You are hospitable, outgoing, and have a natural flair for conversation;

• You have a good command of the English language (Dutch is a plus);

• You have a commercial mindset, naturally encouraging guests to try additional services, upgrade their experience, or make special purchases-all while maintaining a friendly and enjoyable atmosphere;

• Experience in the hospitality industry is a plus;

• You are 18 years or older.
