You collect groceries with a picking cart for our customers. You'll easily walk 20,000 steps per shift, guaranteed to be an active workday. In the cold storage (2-4°C), you keep your cool while picking chilled products.
You check product quality and restock shelves in the warehouse.

How many hours a week do you wanna work?
Every Sunday you share your availability, we'll adjust your schedule accordingly. Work flexible 8-hour shifts and decide for yourself how many hours you work: 16 to 40 per week.
We have multiple locations across the Netherlands, there's one near you!
If you plan well, you'll always arrive on time.
Tip: It's smart to think about your transportation in advance, especially if you have an early or late shift, because public transport is limited at those times. If you plan well, you can be sure you'll arrive at the location on time.

What does a warehouse worker at Picnic do during a day?
As a warehouse worker at Picnic, you collect groceries for our customers. You easily take 20.000 steps during a single shift, so you're guaranteed to have an active workday. You pack various products, from coffee beans to bottles of water. This can include chilled items like milk, which means you'll occasionally work in the chilled area (2-4°C). For those shifts, you will, of course, wear a warm sweater or jacket provided by us.

What does a shift in the warehouse look like?
As a Picnic warehouse worker, you prepare groceries for hundreds of customers. During your shift, you pack various products, from coffee beans to bottles of water. You'll be walking and moving a lot during your shift, it's like you're being paid to work out!
You use a cart and a scanner to collect the groceries. The scanner shows you exactly which items to pack. This also gives your team leader insight into your work and helps them coach you better.

After packing, you ensure the crates are ready for shipment. During your shift, we provide a free warm lunch or dinner. During your break, there's also time to relax or challenge your colleagues to a game of pool or table tennis!
How flexible are the working hours at Picnic and on which days can I work?
Working hours as a Warehouse Worker at Picnic are very flexible.
If you are a student, you can also work one weekday evening (from 18:00) and one shift on the weekend.
- You are available for at least 2 fixed days per week, one of which must be a weekend day.
- You work a minimum of 16 to a maximum of 40 hours per week . This is done part-time or full-time in 8-hour shifts.
- We try our best to accommodate your preferences when planning the schedule.

No experience is needed to work as a Warehouse Worker at Picnic. When you start, we provide you with extensive training so you are ready. This vacancy is perfect if you like to get things done and enjoy working in an energetic team.
As a warehouse worker at Picnic, we expect the following from you:
- You enjoy physical work (20,000 steps per shift) and don't mind occasionally working in the chilled area (2-4°C).
- You are available for a minimum of 16 to a maximum of 40 hours per week , part-time or full-time.
- You can work on one fixed day during the weekend.
Additionally, we require that you have one of the following:
- An EU nationality and a valid Dutch Citizen Service Number (BSN); or
- A non-EU nationality with a valid work permit and a Dutch BSN.
As a warehouse worker at Picnic, you receive a travel allowance if you live more than 10 kilometers from the warehouse. We reimburse €0.21 per kilometer for a maximum of 80 kilometers per day (round trip).
- You live 9 km from the warehouse → no reimbursement
- You live 20 km from the warehouse → full reimbursement
- You live 50 km from the warehouse → reimbursement up to a maximum of 40 km per one-way trip (80 km round trip)

At which locations and under what conditions can I earn €17.11 per hour?
In Berkel , Ridderkerk, and Zwolle: work at least 4 days (32 hours) a week, including the Sunday morning shift (06:00-15:00).
This temporary pay boost applies until calendar week 6 in 2026.
How much do I earn as a warehouse worker at Picnic and how does the weekly payment work?
As a warehouse worker at Picnic, you earn €15.65 per hour, including holiday pay, regardless of your age . You also receive travel allowance (for distances of 10-40 km per one-way trip) and free meals during your shift.
If you have worked more than 520 hours , your salary will automatically increase.
Picnic warehouse workers get paid every week . If you prefer, you can also choose to be paid every four weeks. This way, you always know where you stand and have money in your account on time.
