Service Sales works with multiple functions in an international environment to deliver on Vestas "profitable growth" strategy.

    Purpose and reason for the existence of the job

    The Vestas Offshore Service department is responsible for service and maintenance of the wind turbines in multiple windfarms in the North Sea of the coast of the Netherlands. The department has an open and informal culture, where teamwork and good communication is the key to our success. You will have the opportunity to work in an exciting industry and in a team of highly motivated employees.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage and coordinate service operations on site
    • Plan service tasks on a daily basis
    • Organize Vessel + O&M team transfers
    • Monitor weather forecasts
    • Prepare transfer plans + Daily reports
    • Create service work orders in ERP (SAP)
    • Maintain and update planning board
    • Assist the implementation of new procedures/processes
    • Approve hours of technicians
    • Planning of annual service and maintenance
    • Input to Monthly Customer Report
    • Ensure implementation of upgrades
    • Servicing the customer to ensure high customer satisfaction
    • Compliance to Vestas' Health and Safety Management system
    • General support to the Service Manager
    • Manage and ensure electrical safety works on site
    • Driving and upholding the company's safety standards.

    Qualifications

    • Technical & Leadership Education/ Degree (e.g. Bachelor Degree or similar)
    • Supervisory and leadership experience (min. 3 years)
    • IT skills - Word, Excel, Outlook & data processing, and PowerPoint. Experienced in using ERP system (SAP)
    • Full driving license
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written (English), Dutch will be advantageous
    • Offshore experience. Completed GWO training will be an asset

    Additional Information

    Based from Den Helder, you will work on a 2-week on/2-weeks off rotation, SOV Based at our Hollandse Kust West - Oranjewind that performs the Service on our flagship V236 Turbines.

    This is a local Dutch contract thus candidates are to reside in the Netherlands and be in possession of a Dutch working permit, to be eligible for this role.
