The internship

This internship is unique in its broad potential, offering opportunities for you to make an impact. This hands-on experience will help you discover your passions and develop key skills that are essential for your growth.

• Tackle projects that shape multi-million euro categories (Marketing Services, Below The Line & Sponsorships, Commercial Materials & Services, Digital & Technology, Professional Services, and People Experience), where your ideas can drive real savings for HEINEKEN and you will learn directly from industry-leading experts .
• Work directly with senior leaders, joining strategic conversations and building valuable relationships.
• Support teams by analyzing data, managing projects, and driving improvements with automation, technology, and AI.
• Involved in buyer activities like RFI, RFP, eAuctions, supplier selection, amd contracting, gaining hands-on procurement experience.
• Track, analyze, and report procurement performance , learning how a global business measures success.
• Work with HEINEKEN's Operating Companies (OpCos) worldwide, sharpening your influencing skills and global mindset.
• Dive into market research to uncover trends and opportunities.
• Organize team culture activities where you help build a vibrant team spirit and bring people together.

The department

You will be part of the Global Procurement department, working closely with the Global Procurement People Experience Team as well as the four category leads within the department (covering all expenditure in Marketing, Point of Sales Material, IT, Real Estate, Facility Services, Professional Services, HR, Travel, Fleet). This function is integral to HEINEKEN's success, and the role offers significant opportunities to contribute to high-impact initiatives.

The terms of employment

• Your starting date is as soon as possible
• The internship is fulltime
• The duration of the internship is 5 or 6 months (in consultation with your internship supervisor)
• It is a practice-oriented internship
• You will be based in Amsterdam
• During your internship, you have the flexibility to work from home in a hybrid environment with 3 days a week in the office
• You will receive an internship fee of €650 gross pm based on 40 hours per week .
• You will enjoy 2 vacation days per month (based on fulltime)
• If you do not have a student OV product, your commuting expenses will be fully reimbursed

Conditions of HEINEKEN

1. You are enrolled at an educational institution for the entire duration of your internship and can provide proof of enrollment for the current academic year during your onboarding.
   1. In the case of non-EU nationality, you must be registered as an intern with a Dutch educational institution.
   2. In case of EU nationality, you may also be registered as an intern at educational institutions outside the EU.
2. You reside in the Netherlands for the entire duration of your internship. Please note that HEINEKEN does not provide housing.
3. You are in possession of a valid citizen service number (BSN) .
