De Haagse Kunstkring is looking for an enthusiastic and hospitable gallery employee who will welcome our visitors with a warm welcome and show them around our versatile exhibition spaces. Then read on!

About the Haagse Kunstkring

In the heart of The Hague, on the Denneweg, we offer an inspiring place where art, culture and meeting come together. With three exhibition rooms, a sculpture garden and a showcase in the hall, we organize monthly changing exhibitions that surprise our visitors time and again.

What will you do?

As a gallery assistant, you are the face of our gallery, you;

• Welcomes visitors with a smile and informs them of current exhibits.
• Sells artwork, books, CDs and other items and handles administrative processing.
• Works with a colleague to ensure a welcoming and presentable gallery.

You will work at least one afternoon every two weeks, on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who:

• Hospitable, presentable and helpful.
• Has a heart for art in its broadest sense.
• Has basic knowledge of computers.
• Good command of the Dutch language.
• Is flexible in hours, or just wants to work fixed hours.
