Omschrijving

• As a Transport Planner, you are the central link in the daily transport operation. You are responsible for planning delivery and pick-up routes in a smart and efficient way, using modern systems such as TMS and PTV Smarttour.
• You safeguard the quality of execution, maintain cost control, and ensure clear communication with drivers and internal teams.
• You will coordinate and guide drivers, charters, and subcontractors on a daily basis, and act as the point of contact for customers and external partners.
• You also handle administrative tasks such as trip registration, checking freight documents, and verifying delivery notes.
• The role operates in rotating shifts (morning, afternoon, and night) and reports directly to the Head Planner. This position has become available due to team expansion.

This role is managed by Walters People B.V., trading under the name Robert Walters.

About You

• You have an MBO/HAVO-level education (or equivalent) and preferably some experience in transport planning or logistics coordination.
• You possess strong geographical knowledge and are comfortable working with digital systems such as Excel and planning tools. Experience with PTV Smarttour is a strong plus.

• You are customer-focused, communicative, and enjoy bringing structure to a fast-paced environment.
• More important than a long list of requirements are your motivation, discipline, and natural talent for organizing.
