Marine Engineer
Picture this: your ideas powering vessels across the globe.
As a Marine Engineer at Saltwater, you dive into the technical heart of maritime projects. You calculate, collaborate and create, from propulsion to piping systems. Together with a team of seasoned engineers, you ensure that every design not only works, but works flawlessly. Your input steers the project and helps turn bold concepts into floating realities.
Your impact in this role:
- Performing mooring analyses
- Assisting in execution of inclination tests
- Creating stability booklets
- Determining vessel motion behavior with dynamic analysis software
With this skillset, you're good to go:
- An "MBO", AD, BSc. or Msc. degree in Naval Architecture, Mechanical or Civil Engineering or comparable
- At least 2 years of experience in the maritime industry
- Knowledge of CAD software, such as AutoCAD/BricsCAD and preferably of specialist software such as Optimoor and HECSTAB
- Strong communication and social skills
- A positive attitude and team spirit
