Your role as a mortgage advisor

As a mortgage advisor, you are the permanent point of contact for customers throughout the mortgage process. From the first interview to signing the deed: you guide, advise and ensure that everything is correct. You delve into the customer's personal situation and translate this into appropriate mortgage advice. No standard calculations, but customization. You think along creatively and look for opportunities that match the customer's needs and financial situation.

What are you going to do?

In this position, you will, among other things, be involved in:

• Identifying the wishes, goals and financial opportunities of customers;

• Advising on mortgages and associated insurances;

• Assisting customers throughout the mortgage process in the role of advisor;

• Switch with colleagues from the office to keep files running smoothly;

• Identifying commercial opportunities and expanding your customer base;

• Keeping track of your expertise and developments in the mortgage market;

• Carefully record and document advice and files.

You work independently, but you are never alone. You work with a permanent office colleague who works out your files administratively. Together, you form a duo that tries to do the best for the customer every day.

Salary

The salary range for this position is between €4,000 and €5,500 (full-time), appropriate to your knowledge, experience and skills.

Working conditions

• A bonus of up to 7.5% of your annual salary when goals are achieved;

• 25 vacation days with a 40-hour week with the option to make additional purchases;

• Contract duration: depending on your experience, we offer a fixed-term or indefinite contract;

You are customer-oriented, have strong communication skills and feel responsible for providing good advice. You switch easily between different customers and know how to build trust. When it comes to mortgage advice, you want the best for your network.

You also have:

• At least two years of experience as a mortgage advisor;

• WFT Basic, Mortgage Credit and Assets Diplomas;

• A commercial institution without losing sight of the customer's interests;

• An independent but collegial attitude.
