Your position

For our mold shop we are looking for a Team Leader with a strong affinity for process improvement. Are you a team player who gets energy from organizing and improving processes? Someone who likes to keep an overview, identify bottlenecks and actively contributes to structural improvements? Then we would like to meet you.

For over 75 years, Moba has been making total solutions for grading, packing and processing eggs that are sold all over the world. Over the years, Moba has become a world market leader with systems in 111 different countries, processing more than 1 billion eggs every day. From design, development, production and installation to service, it all happens in Barneveld.

As a Team Leader you are responsible for work preparation and planning within our mold shop. You will also fulfill a supporting role towards the departmental management, whereby you actively participate in the improvement of processes and the realization of improvement projects in both the Mould-making Department and the Injection Moulding Department. You are the sparring partner of the manager and think about the direction of the departments. You are a manager in the Mould Shop and have a strong advisory role in the Injection Mould Shop. You have an important role in connecting people, processes and improvement initiatives.

Some of the most important work:

Die shop

- First point of contact for employees.

- Thinking along solution-oriented in troubleshooting complex molds.

- Organizing and holding performance and end of year meetings.

- Ensuring that dies are delivered on schedule and first time right.

- Systematically training, developing and supervising (new) employees.

- Maintenance planning and supervision of preventive maintenance of machines, working closely with external suppliers.

- Supervise outsourcing and monitor quality, delivery reliability and cost price.

- Advising on the purchase of production equipment and techniques.

Injection foundry

- Project-based work on process optimization in the injection molding plant. (in collaboration with our process engineer).

- Reinforces the connection between our Injection Moulding and Mould Shop.

- Thinking along and advising on means of production, techniques and the possible outsourcing thereof.

- Contributing solution-oriented troubleshooting to complex injection molding parts and providing communication about this to stakeholders (both internal and external).

- Management and maintenance of molds, dies and exchange parts.

Continuous improvement

- Develop and implement continuous improvement strategy based on Lean methodologies.

- Supervise employees in process optimization and collaborate with other departments.

- Initiate, coordinate and execute improvement projects within the department.

- Identify bottlenecks and suggest improvements to departmental management.

- Support in setting improvement objectives and monitoring progress.

What we ask of you

• HBO working and thinking level, preferably in the direction of CNC machining & injection molding;
• Knowledge of injection molding dies is a plus;
• Multiple years of experience in a similar position and work environment;
• Communication skills in Dutch and English;
• Strong technical skills and understanding;
• You are a true team player.
