For one of our biggest clients in the Retail industry, I am currently looking for a Sr. Accounts Payable specialist for the period of 6 to 9 months with possibility to extend. The role is mainly focused on Accounts Payable activities, whereas you will be closely working together with the current AP Manager and P2P department.

Description

As Sr. Accounts Payable accountant, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Accounts Payables (administration & process improvements)
• Manage weekly vendor check processing and payment run processes
• Preparing various journal entries
• Keep vendor cards and suspense accounts clean
• Settle bank statements
• Maintain masterdata
• VAT preparations
• Comply with regulations regarding the retention of invoice and payment documentation
• Support other accounting tasks required by the organization e.g. account reconciliations and month end accruals
• Financial reporting

Profile

• 3+ years of experience in a similar position
• Vocational degree (MBO) or higher
• Team player and pro-active mindset
• Fluent in English, additional languages are a plus
• SAP experience
• Immediately available
• 32 to 40 hours a week
