Medewerker Sales en Logistics

Role (Full-time, minimum 32 hours, in Rotterdam)

Join us as an Intern, where you will:

• Conduct market research and develop investment theses: Perform sector analysis, stay ahead of market trends, monitor technological innovations, and review companies active in the sector. You will explore segments such as recycled, upcycled and bio-based materials; smart building systems; heating and cooling; water management; robotics; datacenter infrastructure; and demolition and waste management

• Assist in deal sourcing and review opportunities: Perform thorough deep dives on potential investments, including analysis on technology, competition, team, business plan and valuation.

• Manage portfolio performance: Conduct analyses to assess portfolio performance.

Qualifications (hard requirements):

• Completed a master's degree in engineering (or in the final phase). Preferably civil, architectural, aerospace, mechanical, industrial or materials science.

• Availability to start in January, February, or March for 4-6 months.

• Proficiency in Dutch and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Hands-on work experience (e.g. through another internship) in either:

• a company active in the built environment (e.g. using HVAC modeling, LCA analysis, exploring new technologies); or
• in an investing environment (e.g. venture capital, private equity, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), or strategy consulting).

Skills / Competencies:

• Strong analytical thinking and ability to synthesize large amounts of information into clear conclusions.

• Experience in or demonstrated interest in technology startups.

• Effective use of AI tools for research, data structuring and drafting insights.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

• Adaptability to evolving scenarios, such as changes in investment performance or financing needs.

• Efficient multitasking and time management, especially under tight deadlines.

• A collaborative and team-focused attitude.

ProDelta is een Rotterdams familiebedrijf bestaande uit drie divisies:

• Real Estate : deze divisie voert het commercieel beheer over een voornamelijk logistieke vastgoedportefeuille van vooral in Nederland gelegen gebouwen van in totaal circa 500.000 m2. Daarnaast ontwikkelt het voornamelijk logistiek vastgoed.
• Cranes : deze divisie is actief op het gebied van de handel in en verhuur van een wereldwijde mobiele kranenportefeuille.
• Impact : deze divisie investeert in jonge, innovatieve bedrijven, die ernaar streven om naast een financieel rendement ook een ecologisch of sociaal rendement te behalen.

Ter versterking van het financiële team zoekt ProDelta een

Financieel medewerker/Assistent-controller

met min. 2 jaar relevante werkervaring op gebied van dagelijkse verwerking van financiële gegevens en het ondersteunen met opstellen van periodieke rapportages. Wij zoeken een teamplayer die voor 24-32 uur per week beschikbaar is, waarbij flexibele werktijden mogelijk zijn.

Functie-eisen:

Onderstaand een aantal werkzaamheden uit het profiel:

• Dagelijkse verwerking van gegevens; boeken inkoop, verkoop en banken;
• Assisteren bij het opstellen van periodieke rapportages, budgetteren en prognoses;
• Assistentie bij periodieke BTW aangiften;
• Ondersteunen van controllers in vervang met het rapporteren aan stakeholders;
• Bewaken en analyseren en continu verbeteren van processen van de groep;
• Proactief met oplossingen komen;
• Het ontwikkelen van constructieve en coöperatieve werkrelatie met andere en het in stand houden van de kernwaarden van de groep.
