For the Skybar of the Mondi Restaurant at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport , we are looking for an experienced and driven Bar Manager . In this role, you are fully responsible for the daily management of the Skybar and ensure the perfect balance between atmosphere, quality and results.

The Skybar is a key hotspot within the hotel. It's all about experience, cocktails, views and high-level service. As Bar Manager, you are the face of the bar and make sure guests keep coming back.

What does your job include?

As Bar Manager, you are responsible for the full operational and organizational management of the Skybar. You lead the bar team, actively work on the floor and ensure the daily operation runs smoothly. You monitor the quality of drinks, service and presentation and step in where necessary.

You also have a strong management role. This includes staff planning, coaching and developing your team, as well as guiding new colleagues and interns. You create a positive working atmosphere with clear leadership.

In addition, you are responsible for stock management and ordering, cost control and minimizing waste. You analyze results and make adjustments to improve both quality and profitability. You actively contribute ideas for refreshing the drink menu, cocktail concepts and upselling, all in line with the Skybar and Mondi concept.

You work closely with the F&B Supervisor and other hotel departments to deliver a consistent and high-quality guest experience.

Job requirements

Who are you?

• You have extensive experience as a Bartender and are ready to take the next step as a Bar Manager , or you already have experience in a supervisory bar role within a hotel or restaurant.

• You have strong knowledge of wines, cocktails, and beverages, and you know how to share this knowledge with your team.

• You are service-oriented, hospitable, and sociable, able to connect with both guests and colleagues.

• You work in a structured way, take responsibility, and can perform well both independently and as part of a team.

• You are flexible and able to maintain oversight even during busy periods.

• You are fluent in both Dutch and English .
