Job description

We are Conscious Group - 9 eco-sexy hotels with organic restaurants, coffee bars, and events. We want our guests to not only sleep well, but also have an amazing time. Conscious Hotels Westerpark is now looking for an experienced Front Office Host! Are you ready to join the team?

During your shift, you are the shining face of the hotel. You take care of everything: checking in guests, helping with the self check-in system, giving the best Amsterdam tips, and effortlessly selling a bike rental or sustainable goodies. You love chatting with guests, making a perfect coffee (or tea), and making sure everyone leaves with a smile. Here, the front desk isn't the only place you shine - you also froth milk like a pro.

You work independently, stay on top of things, and handle whatever comes your way - from late check-ins to a friendly chat at the bar.

Job requirements

Job requirements and personal qualities:

• You are looking for a nice part-time job for 0-24 hours per week;

• Front office host and barista in one - now that's multitasking with a smile;

• Hospitality is in your DNA - you can sense exactly what a guest needs;

• Ideally, you have experience in (international) hotels or the hospitality industry - to provide the best service for our guests;

• Flexible availability - Including weekends and holidays;

• You speak fluent English. If you also speak Dutch, that's a nice bonus;

• Preferably, you live in or near Amsterdam;

• You are a team player but also work well independently;

• Experience with complaint handling and knowledge of HACCP is a plus.
