Team captain operations

Fundaments has grown significantly in recent years, is evolving rapidly, and has ambitious goals. To help realize these ambitions, we're looking for a hands-on team leader within one of our Operations teams. In this role, you'll actively contribute to the availability, performance, and reliability of our services.

There are several major innovations on the horizon in which you'll play a leading and active role. We'll be implementing VMware Cloud Foundation, building sovereign cloud solutions based on Kubernetes for Dutch municipalities and healthcare institutions, and developing a fully Dutch solution for Private AI.

What will you do as a

Team captain operations

We're looking for a hands-on team lead - someone who works as a Cloud Engineer and also coordinates the team. The breakdown is approximately 75% technical and 25% coordination.

As a Cloud Engineer, you'll work with a team of about six engineers who specialize in our Infrastructure as a Service and Managed Cloud services. This team is responsible for the full lifecycle of our services and ensures our building blocks are - and remain - robust, reliable, and secure.

As a coordinator, you'll contribute as a generalist or expert and will determine, plan, and monitor the team's work. You'll also serve as a key link between the (strategic) ambitions of management and your team. In your coordinating role, you'll make sure the team is actively involved in product development roadmaps as well as lifecycle management of existing services.

What do you bring?

• Bachelor-level thinking and working experience (HBO)
• Fluent in Dutch (spoken and written)
• Familiar with ISO standards and ITIL processes
• Technically skilled enough to be a sparring partner for clients, engineers, and solution consultants
• Committed to following the information security management system in place at Fundaments
• Able to effectively coordinate and lead meetings
• Strong at facilitating structural knowledge sharing within the team
• A true team player who can motivate and inspire the team - and has proven experience doing so
• Participation in on-call duties is optional

Competitive salary

Of course, you also want to know what the role pays. As a Team Captain at Fundaments, you'll earn a monthly gross salary between €3,924 and €6,262 (based on 40 hours), depending on your experience and level. We also offer a strong pension scheme and 25 vacation days per year (plus your birthday off!)). On top of that, you'll receive a €25/month net phone allowance and a €35/month net internet allowance.
