Job description

At Workstead, as an Intercedent you will be the connection between our clients in sectors such as Food, Logistics, Industry, Production and Technology, as well as our Polish temporary workers. You are the first point of contact and guide them with care, so that everything runs smoothly and everyone feels appreciated. In this independent role, you have the space to really make a difference!

  • Impact: Your commitment increases both the work experience of our temporary workers and the satisfaction of our clients.
  • Variety: No day is the same; every day offers new challenges and learning moments.
  • Involvement: You build close relationships, support temps in their development, and watch them grow.
  • Planning and monitoring customer processes: You keep an overview of the planning and ensure that the client's work processes run smoothly. This means that you continuously monitor the efficiency and quality of execution.
  • Recruitment and selection of new employees: To meet our customers' needs, you select the best candidates who are a good fit for the organization and enthusiastic to get started.
  • Site tours: You take new employees to the workplace to familiarize them with their future working environment and their team, making them feel immediately welcome.
  • Discuss terms of employment and arrange contracts: You ensure that all agreements are clear, arrange contracts and answer questions about terms of employment, so that everyone can start with peace of mind.
  • Resolving problems on the shop floor or with accommodation: Whether it's questions on the shop floor or challenges with accommodation, you are the point of contact and resolve issues before they become problems.
  • Coordinating absenteeism and leave: If there are any absences or leaves of absence, you ensure proper planning and keep clients and temporary workers informed, so everyone knows where they stand.

You take your responsibility seriously and know how important it is to build a relationship of trust with both clients and employees. With your tactful approach and clear communication, you are the connecting factor that ensures everyone feels heard and problems are solved quickly.

Here's what makes you the ideal candidate:

  • Experience in the staffing industry: You already have experience in the staffing industry, so you will quickly find your way in this dynamic environment. Experience in the meat industry is an added bonus, as it provides insight into the specific challenges and requirements of clients within this sector.//li>
  • Customer focus and independence: You like to work customer-oriented and have a keen eye for their needs. You can work independently and know how to take initiative where necessary, so that both clients and temporary workers can count on you.
  • Strong communication skills: Your communication style is clear and convincing, with a good dose of empathy. You know how to steer conversations in a pleasant way and make sure everyone feels understood, even when dealing with difficult subjects or under pressure.
  • Language skills: You have a good command of the Polish language, which is essential to put our Polish temporary workers at ease. You also speak English, so you can communicate well with clients and colleagues.
  • Driving license: You have a driving license, which gives you the flexibility to easily travel to clients and locations and accompany our temps where necessary.
  • Living in the Haelen area: You live in the area, which means you can switch gears quickly and are always nearby to pick things up immediately.
