Your job as Project Controller

As Project Controller in Technolution's Finance department, you are our project managers' right hand when it comes to finances. They often work simultaneously on multiple projects. Each of these projects is likely to be different in scale and content, but they are always about advanced technology. Much of our work is commissioned by public bodies.

At the start of these complex projects, you help to put in place a sound financial set-up. In addition, you perform intermediate risk assessments, ensure that the projects are in good administrative shape, and afterwards carry out a financial analysis. You contribute to consultations on budgets, costs, hours, purchase, and sale. You create a project environment in PRIMA, our project administration system. In current projects, you help out with calculations and the monitoring of project finances.

Mind you, you are more a consultant and a guide than a bookkeeper. One of your primary tasks is to recognize patterns in the project finances and spot deviations. You are in constant consultation with project managers to keep on top of things. You have an analytical way of thinking and are quick to pick up on where the bottlenecks are. As soon as you've spotted possibilities for improvement, you proactively initiate consultations about these and are not afraid of receiving criticism in the process. You identify financial risks, perform a wide range of analyses, and draft clear reports.

Typically you

• a few years of experience in a comparable job;
• affinity with project organization and finances;
• excellent communication skills in Dutch and English.
