BU Green is looking for a Stock Controller…someone who ensures our inventory administration is accurate, our TMS system runs smoothly and all data stays up to date. Safety and precision are your top priorities.

Where will you be working?

As a Stock Controller at Chane Terminals, you are responsible for maintaining an accurate and reliable inventory administration within our Business Unit Green. You make sure that everything we store, process and ship is properly recorded in our TMS system. In this way, you play a key role in the safety and efficiency of our terminal.

You'll work closely with colleagues from Operations, Customs, Customer Service and ICT on a daily basis. You keep oversight, detect discrepancies and ensure that processes and data are correct. You also contribute actively to improvements in inventory management and administrative systems.

Representative activities

• Perform checks on stock lists (TMS/ENRAF) and investigate discrepancies
• Support colleagues in using systems and processes
• Manage and update product information in line with ADR/ADN/IMDG regulations
• Enter contracts in the operational ERP system
• Manage and update tank information based on calibration tables and inspections
• Prepare monthly and annual inventory reports
• Contribute ideas for process improvements and quality assurance
• Maintain contact with customers and internal departments regarding inventory matters

In short: you make sure our administration runs as smoothly as our operations.

Requirements

You are someone who likes to keep oversight and knows exactly what's going on. You work accurately, communicate clearly and take ownership.

You also have:

• a bachelor's degree or equivalent level of education and experience
• good command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written
• knowledge of storage and transshipment operations and liquid bulk products
• affinity with safety and regulations concerning hazardous substances

Important traits: teamwork, safety awareness, flexibility and a solution-oriented mindset.
