The Data Specialist is part of the Data SSC team which is part of Damen Data Services department. Data SSC team focused on (level 1) processing standardized master data management business requests and (level 2) consult our businesses and support our level 1 activities in more complex master data management inquiries.

As a Data Specialist , you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality, consistency, and reliability of Damen's master data. You'll be the go-to expert for complex data requests (i.e., create-update-delist), structural changes, and classification maintenance, supporting our operations with precision and purpose. Shaping the future of data integrity means building a trusted foundation for every business decision, innovation, and customer interaction. The Data Specialist is at the heart of this transformation, ensuring our data is reliable, consistent, and a strategic asset that drives operational excellence and unlocks new value streams.

Your impact:

• Proactively maintain and manage master Data Objects, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and reliability throughout all business applications (SAP, IFS, SalesForce, Workday, Stibo-Step, MSDS, etc.).

2. Drive Operational Excellence by Data

• Empower Level 1 services (mainly automated) to resolve complex data challenges and execute high-impact updates, keeping systems clean, compliant, and ready for business needs.

• Identify opportunities for improvement, challenge the status quo, and implement innovative solutions to elevate data quality and business outcomes.

What you bring:

We're looking for pioneers who dare to innovate and take ownership.

• Experience: 3-4 years in master data management / key user in applications (e.g., SAP, IFS, Workday, SalesForce, etc.).
• Knowledge: Strong theoretical and/or practical understanding of data processes, systems, and protocols.
• Skills: Analytical mindset, problem-solving ability, and a drive for continuous improvement.
• Initiative: You think ahead, challenge the status quo, and bring fresh ideas to complex problems.
• Practical: You are available for 32-40 hours, and already live in The Netherlands.

No experience in data management yet? We are also open to candidates with a more administrative background, a strong sense of accuracy, and a Data-driven, tech-savvy mindset.
