Are you the Operational Manager Marshalling & Logistics who ensures the safe and efficient management of all marshalling and logistics operations at Maasvlakte? Operational Manager Marshalling & Logistis. what will you do?

As the Operational Manager Marshalling & Logistics, you are responsible for the day-to-day management, planning, and preparation of the logistics operations at Maasvlakte 2. You ensure the safe, efficient, and timely execution of all marshalling and logistics activities, including transport, load-in/load-out, and lifting and handling operations. You monitor safety, quality, costs, and progress and act as the connecting link between internal and external stakeholders.

Your responsibilities

• You lead the daily marshalling and logistics operations and ensure safety, quality, and efficiency.

• You coordinate logistics activities such as transport, load-in/load-out, and lifting and handling operations.

• You align planning and execution with internal departments, customers, and external service providers.

• You monitor progress, costs, and HSE performance and make adjustments where necessary.

• You optimize processes, yard layouts, quay usage, and material flows.

• You report on KPIs, progress, and HSE results to the Manager Marshalling & Logistics.

As an Operational Manager M&L, you will report into the Manager M&L.

Who are you?

You mainly bring a great deal of enthusiasm and a hands-on mentality. Your communication skills are above average, and you are strong in planning and directing projects and people.

You possess;

• A completed HBO (Bachelor's) degree, preferably in Logistics Management, Supply Chain, or similar.

• 3-8 years of leadership experience within logistics in a project-driven environment.

• Experience working in project organizations.

• Knowledge of logistics processes; experience in a maritime, industrial, or heavy-lift environment is a plus.

• Strong safety awareness and experience with HSE guidelines.
