Are you that creative and technically savvy electrical engineer who translates complex challenges into smart and practical solutions? Do you want to play a key role in designing and realising innovative sorting machines that make an impact worldwide? Then this role is for you!

As an Electrical Engineer, you get the challenge of not only making our machines work, but making them smarter, more reliable and more efficient. You will translate complex issues into practical electrical engineering solutions, switching between design, drawing and thinking on the shop floor. No two days are the same: one day you are working on a new schematic in Eplan, the next you are helping to get a prototype up and running or optimising an existing design. You will be involved from concept phase to realisation, so you will not only put your ideas on paper, but also see them actually come to life in our workshop and at the customer's site.

What will you do?

• You translate technical challenges into smart electrical engineering designs in Eplan.
• You will create diagrams and drawings that form the basis for our innovative sorting machines.
• You will work closely with the workshop: you will assist in wiring, connecting and testing installations so that theory and practice are perfectly aligned.
• You will actively contribute to improvements and optimisations of existing designs, contributing directly to increasing the quality and reliability of our machines.
• You are involved from concept phase to realisation, which means you really see how your ideas come to life in the workshop and with the customer.

Profile

We are looking for an Electrical Engineer who gets excited about developing innovative electrical engineering solutions and enjoys switching between theory and practice. You have an eye for detail, enjoy working together and see a challenge in improving existing systems.

• You have a completed MBO or HBO education in electrical engineering (or a similar technical field).
• Experience with drawing software such as Eplan.
• You have a strong basic knowledge of electrical engineering systems and enjoy applying this knowledge in machines that really make a difference.
• You have a solution-oriented attitude and an eye for detail when developing and optimising designs.
• You can work well with colleagues from different departments and communicate your ideas clearly. You have a proactive attitude.
• You are curious and willing to develop further in an innovative and growing organisation.

You will mainly work in the office on designs and schematics, but you will also regularly be in the workshop to see your own designs become reality and put the finishing touches to them together with engineers. This makes the role varied and practical.

What do you bring?

• HBO/WO working and thinking level, with experience as a product owner or project leader in a technical (software) environment. Training disciplines such as IT & Business, Information Science, Technical Business Administration or Agrotechnology are a good fit.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a product owner or IT consultant role.
• You are both functionally and analytically strong: you structure complex issues, ask the right questions and think in terms of solutions.
• You are communicative and connecting. You know how to interact with different disciplines - from developers to commercial teams - and effortlessly build bridges between business and technology.
• You are independent, stress-resistant and function well within a dynamic, fast-growing organisation.
• You take initiative and feel responsible for the success of new projects.
• You are strong in structuring, prioritising and guiding development processes (planning, refinement, releases). Experience with agile working is useful.
• You have sufficient technical knowledge to spar with developers and AI engineers and understand technical choices. You do not need to be able to program, but understanding the underlying concepts is an advantage.
