Export Manager

We have a new and exciting opportunity for an Export Manager. In this role, you are responsible for export activities and customer relationships within European countries. In the assigned regions, you will implement export strategies to expand the company's international market presence and increase sales. Currently, we have three Export Managers and two back-office support staff.

What will you do?

• Identify opportunities for market expansion and the acquisition of retail clients.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with partners.
• Develop and implement sales plans and strategies, monitor sales performance, analyse market trends, and prepare regular management reports.
• Set export prices in line with market conditions, conduct negotiations with customers, and finalize sales contracts.
• Ensure compliance with export regulations, customs procedures, and documentation requirements.
• Coordinate logistics and transportation of exported goods to ensure timely delivery.
• Plan and organize all export activities in collaboration with the office team.
• Visit our partners and participate in international trade shows.

Who are you?

• A driven and highly motivated professional with a strong hunter mentality for new business.
• 3+ years of experience in business development and sales within international markets.
• Experience in the food & beverage industry is preferred.
• Existing contacts with full-service retailers are an advantage.
• Strong commercial acumen with excellent communication skills at multiple levels.
• Solid financial awareness and the ability to produce commercially sound quotations and proposals.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Fluency in English is required; Dutch, Mandarin Chinese, French, German and/or Spanish are advantageous.
