Finance Assistant

(Part-time Working Student Role)

About the Position

As a Finance assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our finance team with day-to-day administrative and finance tasks. You will also take on projects that will directly contribute to improving our financial operations. This role offers a unique opportunity to learn, grow, and make a real impact in a software company.

What will you be doing?

You will support the finance team with a variety of tasks, including:

• Handling incoming emails in the Finance mailbox and responding to questions from suppliers and customers.

• Managing Accounts Payable, including registration of business expenses & purchase invoices in our in-house developed software and booking of the expenses to our accounting software.

• Bank Reconciliations of bank receipts and payments in the accounting system.

• Keeping the Accounts Receivable register up-to-date and collaborating with the Customer Succes team to ensure all sales invoices are collected.

• Performing month-end closing procedures, including sending out of sales invoices.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who is organized, proactive, and eager to learn about finance in a tech environment. You don't need extensive experience-just a willingness to roll up your sleeves and get the job done!

You are:

• Detail oriented and capable of managing multiple tasks

• Proactive and confident in communicating with clients and suppliers via email.

• Interested in finance, AI and tech-driven solutions.

• Fluent in Dutch and English.

• Based in Groningen .

• Available to start in April 2026.
