As a Business Controller at Aeronamic, you are the key link between financial data and the day-to-day reality of diverse R&D projects, focused on making aviation and industry more sustainable.

ACTIVITIES

What are your tasks and responsibilities?

In this versatile role, you analyze project results, identify risks and opportunities, and translate these into clear recommendations for the Management Team. In doing so, you add direct value to innovative initiatives that are critical to the future of the organization and actively contribute to decision-making and the strategic direction of Aeronamic Innovations.

In addition, you play a key role in setting up, monitoring, and continuously improving the financial administration. You ensure reliable and insightful reporting, monitor budgets and forecasts, and are responsible for preparing periodic reports and annual accounts. You make sure that financial figures are not only accurate, but also timely and understandable for the organization. Finally, you are closely involved in company-wide projects, including Business Intelligence and CSRD.

The activities include:

• You are responsible for the optimal setup, monitoring, and continuous improvement of the financial administration of Aeronamic Innovations, including related processes, procedures, and systems.
• Preparing and monitoring periodic financial reports, budgets, analyses, and the annual accounts of Aeronamic Innovations.
• Fulfilling a coordinating and advisory role in WBSO applications and a controlling role in the financial accountability of WBSO and R&D subsidy projects within Aeronamic.
• Annually preparing CSRD reports (scope 1 & 2 KPIs) and sustainability reports for financiers and other stakeholders.
• Actively contributing to group-wide Business Intelligence projects, including the development of (KPI) reports and improving the efficiency and quality of analyses and management information.
• Providing solicited and unsolicited advice to the Board and management on financial and business-economic matters.

WHAT WE OFFER

• Gross monthly salary between €4,680 and €6,500, depending on education and experience.
• An annual mid-year allowance of 4%, an end-of-year allowance of 3%, and a performance-based bonus of up to 3%.
• A monthly contribution of €176.56 towards your health insurance premium.
• 40 vacation days per year.
• An attractive pension scheme, with Aeronamic covering 77% of your pension premium.
• Flexible working hours, with the option to start your workday between 7:00 and 10:00 a.m.

YOU BRING

This position requires someone who combines strong analytical skills with a practical mindset and solid communication abilities. Someone who maintains overview, takes initiative, and gains energy from improving both processes and performance. You are able to switch effortlessly between operational, tactical, and strategic levels, always knowing how to create the right connections.

We are looking for:

• A completed HBO or WO degree, preferably in Finance, Business Economics, or a related field.
• Several years of relevant experience in a similar role within a production environment.
• Clear affinity with (ERP) systems; able to quickly become proficient in ISAH and ISAH Finance, with strong Excel skills.
• Experience with subsidies is a plus.
• Personality traits: communicative, results-driven, structured, curious, detail-oriented, and not afraid to take initiative.
