Job description

We are looking for a Project Controller Assistantto complete our consultants Workforce Management Service on behalf of the European Space Agency (ESA) at their location in Nordwijk, the Netherlands, to join our IT Sourcing Support Service and be part of their IT Access Governance and Sourcing Section. The Section is responsible for providing IT products, services and systems dedicated to establishing, maintaining and evolving mainly the end users' workplace capabilities across the Agency as well as any other specific technical request.

Please note, the successful candidate will be employed by ATG Europe (or one of its subsidiaries). Furthermore, upon selection, they will be subject to a general security screening performed by an external provider (further information will be provided at the interview stage).

The successful candidate will be tasked with, but not limited to:

• Preparation of detailed schedules for multiple projects;

• Production of schedule reports, identification of critical items and problem areas;

• Consolidate inputs for the programme level overall schedule, production of reports and trend charts to enable programme level analysis;

• Support data preparation and entry in directorate databases and applications;

• Support project managers in the maintenance of project scheduling and reporting;

• Support project managers in the maintenance of project budget and risk register;

• Provision of ad hoc project control and administration support as needed;

• Utilize relevant local and/or corporate management support tools at both project and programme level;

• Monitor and evaluate each step of the projects run within the End-user Division to ensure that they are meeting budgetary and deadline goals;

• Focus on budgeting and scheduling;

• Create and adjusts project budgets;

• Forecast project goals and completion.

Job requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent;

• At least 4 years of experience in administrative support;

• Basic professional experience in business administration, finance, or accounting;

• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especially Microsoft Excel, as well as Project Management tools;

• Knowledge of SAP is required in order to collaborate with internal & external stakeholders with regards to the invoicing and confirmation process;

• MS Excel and business reporting tool knowledge and experience is an asset;

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, basic project management capabilities and a methodical approach to work;

• Capable to work effectively with all clients and stakeholders, both internal and external;

• Able to promote continuous learning, with particular regard to the Agency-specific tools;

• Able to take initiative and drive high levels of performance management;

• Able to contribute to a collegial team environment;

• Keen on innovation and proactiveness approach;

• Excellent written and spoken communication skills;

• A positive attitude and a good team spirit;

• Customer-oriented approach and attitude;

• Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the EU;

• Fluency in English, both written and spoken;

• Knowledge of another European language is an asset.
